Yankton County Democrats will meet on Monday, August 17, 5:30 - 6:30pm, at The Boat House in downtown Yankton for our regular monthly meeting. (Reminder: We meet every third Monday of the month.)

With Riverboat Days quickly approaching, as well as the general election, we have a lot to discuss and we need everyone’s input! If you are part of the Riverboat Days Parade committee — we look forward to hearing updates from you on the plans for Saturday, August 22.

We also welcome updates from Karen Springer and Jarod Holcomb, candidates for District 18 House, and Kay Swihart for District 18 Senate — specifically updates on the work they’ve been doing and their plans for campaigning in the next couple months. We also need to hear from all of you — District 18 Democrats — about ideas you have for ways they can bolster their campaigns…including use of party funds.
